It looks very similar although there are slight differences. This style of car is actually not as rare as you imagine.
Roll bar, 300km/h speedometer, bucket seats x2, Apex powerFC + commander, tachometer, added gauges. Lots of other modifications

Re: TRD Ultra Wide Body Demonstrator
Hi there,
First post n all, but glad to see there's a dedicated TRD widebody forum! I live in Western Australia, and am currently mid build on an ultra wide body set up; I bought a TRD replica kit and took pictures of the ultra widebody concept car (top picture in the thread) to the body shop and they've since butchered th panels i gave them in favour of making the ultra widebody I 'm after!
Link to my build thread are here, page 6 (linked) has the latest wide arch/rear quarters pics, but feel free to look through the otehr pages - for the experienced out there you may find my noob methods amusing!! Until I took it to the professionals...

I guess my post is to ask about wheel offsets. I've ordered 18 x 8 ET 20 fronts with 215/18/40 tyres and 19 x 10.5 ET -2 rears with 275/19/30 tyres - We worked out the offsets in the shop with a jig, and measured the arch width, so am hoping to be somewhwre very close to flush when it all happens - any views and feedback would be most welcome
Cheers

Re: TRD Ultra Wide Body Demonstrator
It will be interesting to see how this goes - thought of doing something similar myself but was worried how it might turn out!
Re: TRD Ultra Wide Body Demonstrator
Daz, theres more info on the red demonstrator in HyperRevs Vol. 50 magazine including specs on wheel sizes etc. I've not scanned them yet but will post up as soon as I do :-)
Start a build thread in the build section as I for one would love to watch progress on this one :-)

Re: TRD Ultra Wide Body Demonstrator
IS there any one that can replicate this widebody??

I really would like to achieve this stances/look. If i can get this kit, i will modified my suspension and wheel wells to get the right height/stance just like the JGTCs. Can anyone help?

Re: TRD Ultra Wide Body Demonstrator
I get the impression they do it themselves - Id be tempted to buy an ordianry TRD kit and customise it - thought about doing this myself and I dont reckon it would be that difficult.

you mean the Replica of the TRD? right? Because from my understanding TRD does not make them any more.

Re: TRD Ultra Wide Body Demonstrator
Take a ordinary widebody kit (would be a replica) then chop it up and "widen" it plus sculpt the rear arch panel differnces - quite sure even I could do it if anyones got a spare kit they dont mind being chopped up.
Re: TRD Ultra Wide Body Demonstrator
Are there any new resources or contacts to acquire the ultra-wide body demonstrator?
