kit car insurance?
well insurance is due and i've heard about people insuring them as a kit car to save money. how much truth is in this and how do you go about doing it?
are there specific kitcar insurance companies or is it just smething i ask for with a regular company?

Id be interested to know this too as I tried (and failed) to get mine insured as a kitcar :-(

thats alot cheaper than im paying and your on a turbo, bad times!
i just phoned adrian flux and asked about it and they said they can do kit car insurance on it but it just came out at the same price, useless!

well it turns out they can be insured as kitcars and it is cheaper so bonus! i googled kitcar insurance and just rang a few, when they asked what car it is i said its a TRD 2000gt replica based on an mr2 and there didnt seem to be any problems

Thats handy to know - I always thiought to get the kit car insurance you had to hav ethe car re-registered as a TRD 2000GT. How much do you reckon thats saved you?
