Anyone fitted a front lip? Empty Anyone fitted a front lip?

Been looking at my car in the car park, and the front bumper is roughly the same height as some standard cars parked next to it, even though it's lowered quite a bit (any more and tyres would scrub). So I was thinking of fitting a front lip to lower the appearance a little bit. Anyone done this before?

I've been thinking the same thing. I'm going to DIY a front lip to see how it looks. My front looks like a 4x4!

That looks awesome! I guess we need to modify something our selves and make our own.

I agree that does look really good. The front bumper is actually quite different on that car though, the bottom edge doesn't seem to change levels in the middle as it does with our cars and it's a different around the fog light area too. Worth noting because if you did try to replicate the lip you can't expect exactly the same results.

I might buy a subaru sti 06-07 lip and try to modify it to fit on my TRD. I Think it might fit with little change.

Just googled it and that looks very similar to the one on the car pictured above (if it's the same one you're thinking of because google brought up a few), good luck with it and let us know how you get on Very Happy

Cool, looks like a good design to work from. Can't wait to see how you get on with this.

I tried the sti lip and it wasn't even close. I ended up selling it to a local sti owner. I have a couple ideas. I'm trying to hunt down the materials now. I tried the garage door lip from lowes but I wasn't happy enough with it.
